This one day training will focus on energizing community partners to join together in developing an MDT model for child abuse investigations. Participants will gain knowledge about the  value the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in investigations and interviewing, to understand the dynamics of disclosure and impact of trauma in child sexual abuse cases, to respect the roles and responsibilities of core disciplines on the MDT, to appreciate the value and function of case review and to recognize how Secondary Traumatic Stress may impact team members.
