Understanding Human Trafficking

This presentation will address the basics of human trafficking. It will include definitions for both sex trafficking and labor trafficking, breakdown various myths and misconceptions about human trafficking, will cover who is affected by human trafficking and discuss what makes an individual vulnerable, will discuss warning signs and red flags of human trafficking, will address trauma and how victims are impacted by human trafficking, will address how traffickers solicit victims, various methods of coercion, trafficking schemes, and what makes it difficult for individuals to get out. This presentation will include information specific to Idaho and what human trafficking looks like in our state.

What Information Do We Collect?
